Jennifer Lopez beats Rihanna in style stakes as they lead stars at Home premiere

The pair appeared to crave an early summer tonight as they donned light dresses for the children's hit film

Rihanna and Jennifer Lopez got the same memo today as they stunned at the Home premiere in summer dresses.

The pair posed on the purple carpet alongside the stars of the new animated film, raising the heat dramatically as they showed off their endless legs.

But despite Riri almost suffering a wardrobe malfunction in a daring outfit just hours before, she was overshadowed by J Lo on this occasion.

Jen, 45 stunned in a light blue lacy number, showing off her world famous behind and toned pins at the California venue.

Wearing heavy eye make-up and curling her hair into a loose wave, the star dazzled as she posed for the cameras.

Meanwhile Rihanna went from racy to chic in a longer light pink gown.

But then we suppose this was family friendly.

Adding dark lippy and wearing her hair tied up in a top knot with a tiny fringe, she once again looked completely different as she flashed a huge smile.

The pair posed next to the various props, clearly in their element having such exciting surroundings compared to the usual, every day (for them), premiere.

Also there was The Big Bang Theory actor Jim Parsons, who dressed up in a smart grey suit to join the stunning singers.

What would Leonard say?

It comes after Rihanna narrowly missed a nip slip on Saturday night.

Rocking the plunge wool cardigan look is tough at the best of times but the Diamonds singer managed to make it work with dangerously high denim cut offs and a few buckets of baby oil (or that may be just a post dinner shine).

The sultry star has been back on our radar the last few weeks as she promotes her upcoming movie Home.
