Lagos - An upcoming singer Portah has accused Sean Tizzle and his producer, D’tunes of stealing his song, reports Daily Times
The
Ibadan based artist who is still a student of Lead City University
studying economics said that he gave his own version of the song to
D’tunes in the first quarter of 2014.
He gave D’tunes the song, hoping that the popular music producer will help him drive his music.
The
song in question was allegedly taken from the 21 songs that Portah gave
to D’tunes and used in Sean Tizzle’s debut album in the song ‘Perfect Gentleman’
Portah
claims that D’tunes asked if he could write for Sean Tizzle so he could
include it in his album but he never got back to him.
He said he felt stupid for handing his songs to D’tunes, and wished that the music producer had asked for his permission.
