Ariana Grande left in tears over Grammy nominations as she joins the 2015 nominees

The pop starlet has received two nods ahead of next year’s ceremony



Ariana Grande can’t believe that she’s been nominated for two Grammy Awards and has admitted to being in tears over the news.

The pop star, who has enjoyed a tremendous year with a string of hits including Bang Bang with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj as well as Break Free, tweeted about her excitement as the nominees for the February 2015 ceremony were revealed - with Ariana up for Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance of her hit Bang Bang with Jessie J and Nicki Minaj.

“at a loss for words. 2 Grammy noms. thankful to even be considered. my heart is exploding, can't process it. this means the most. so honored,” she tweeted, before adding:

“i....... really can't. find the words. been crying on & off since 6. #grammynoms #bestpopvocalalbum #bestpopduogroupperformance”

After a flurry of excited tweets, she signed off by thanking her loyal fan base: “thanks to @thegrammys for the consideration & u loves for making this year what it was. u are my everything (pun intended // I'm crying bye)”
